On 19 Jan, Earth Society members reached XiShan Primary at 10.20 am. We set up and manned a booth at the school canteen from 10.30 to 11.20am. We conducted a Global Warming Assembly talk for the school cohort from 11.30 to 12pm. The students and teachers listened attentively to the talk.

We left the school after the talk.

Ms Amanda Tan provided the following feedback on the Assembly talk:The presenter was able to use simpler language to talk about the issue of global warming. Students were astonished by the case studies brought up in the local context and this was a great talking point for raising their awareness of current affairs.

The videos though interesting could be better explained. The students need more visuals/animations of the cause effect relationships in unpacking Global warming.
